Alan has enjoyed a long career in music, or rather the supply of music to hotels, bars and restaurants around the world for more than three decades. With the advent of digital technology, broadband delivery and giveaway prices, this type of entertainment industry has almost disappeared. During Alan's 25 years running his entertainment agency in Europe he became a natural european learning languages along the way and enjoying the varied cultures from Scandinavia to Italy and beyond. It's a natural progression to end up sitting in the sun with a cafe latte, the local newspaper and not have to worry about London congestion charges. Now, Alan has had to find another channel for his energy and skills. As his accountant said - you can't have a virtual roof over your head so, having studied the international property market for three years and analysed how funding works, Alan entered the property market in July 2005 (see under Turkey and Canary Islands, respectively), and witnessed how quickly others made money out of it.

Jennifer is responsible for the design and maintenance of our websites and conducting research. She has had a long career in administration in both the public sector and commercial enterprises. She now lives in France and as part of her commitment to continuing professional development has recently completed a TEFL course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) moderated by Trinity College, London. When Jennifer has some spare time she particularly enjoys oil painting and drawing, as well as travel, theatre, cinema, reading, eating out - all the usual suspects!
